The system is developed utilizing Microsoft Team Foundation with Vb .net as front end and Sql Server as back end. It is designed as a full client / server architecture system so that the main processing is done on the server using stored procedures thus minimizing the network traffic between the client and server. It is not a web application.

System runs on windows based operating system and hardware. It is a 32 bit system so minimum requirement is windows xp or windows 2003. The system is Windows 7 compatible.

For multi-site operations Terminal Services and/or Cytrix is advisable. Depending on the number of users the size of the hardware platform and speed of the data lines may vary. Please call for more information.

For operations up to 5 concurrent users a low end server with 1 GB RAM and Single P4 or Zeon processor 2.8Ghz or above is good enough. The system is installed with Sql Server express which is royalty free for up to 5 concurrent users. The client Computers should have at least 1GB RAM and P4 2.8 Ghz or above processors. The Screen resolution is 1280 * 1024.

In Smaller sites of 2- 3 computers there is no need for a separate server. In a single computer operation we install our standalone version.

The system can work with all types of POS equipment such as touch screens, Docket/receipt printers, Barcode scanners and Cash Drawers. It can also print plastic cards for memberships if required. We also interface to quiet a few third party systems like Hotel systems and Accounting systems.
